The White House today published the text of “President Trump’s Declaration of Peace in Gaza” signed during the peace summit held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

The declaration read:

“We, the undersigned, welcome the historic commitment and the actual implementation by all parties of the peace agreement brokered by President Trump, which ended more than two years of suffering and deep losses — opening a new chapter in the region’s history, one defined by hope, security, and a shared vision of peace and prosperity.

We support and stand behind President Trump’s sincere efforts to end the war in Gaza and achieve a lasting peace in the Middle East. We will work together to implement this agreement in ways that ensure peace, security, stability and opportunity for all the peoples of the region, including both Palestinians and Israelis.

We recognize that lasting peace is one that allows both Palestinians and Israelis to prosper while protecting their fundamental human rights, ensuring their security, and preserving their dignity.

We affirm that genuine progress stems from sustained cooperation and dialogue, and that strengthening ties among states and peoples serves the enduring interests of regional and global peace and stability.

We acknowledge the deep historical and spiritual significance of this region for the faith communities rooted in its soil — including Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Respecting these sacred ties and protecting their heritage sites will remain a priority of our commitment to peaceful coexistence.

We are united in our determination to eliminate extremism and radicalism in all its forms. No society can flourish where violence and racism are normalized, or where extremist ideologies threaten its civic fabric. We commit to addressing the conditions that give rise to extremism, to strengthening education, expanding opportunities, and embedding mutual respect as the foundations of lasting peace.

We commit to resolving future disputes through diplomatic engagement and negotiation, rather than resorting to force or sliding into protracted conflicts. We recognize that the Middle East cannot sustain a continual cycle of ongoing wars, stalled negotiations, or the partial or selective implementation of agreements. The tragedies we have witnessed over the past two years must serve as an urgent reminder that future generations deserve better than the failures of the past.

We aspire to entrench tolerance, dignity and equal opportunity for every individual, and to make this region a place where everyone can pursue their aspirations under conditions of peace, security and economic prosperity, regardless of race, religion or ethnic affiliation.

We continue to pursue a comprehensive vision of peace, security and shared prosperity in the region, founded on principles of mutual respect and a common destiny.

In that spirit, we welcome the progress made in establishing comprehensive and sustainable peace arrangements in the Gaza Strip, as well as friendly and mutually beneficial relations between Israel and its neighbors in the region. We pledge to work collectively to implement and sustain this legacy, and to build strong institutions that can provide the foundation on which future generations may flourish in peace.”
