Al-Qassam Brigades hand over another Israeli captive’s body to the Red Cross

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, handed Israel the body of an Israeli captive on Friday night, and the Israeli army said early Saturday that the Red Cross had received the body of a hostage in Gaza.

The move follows an earlier announcement by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) that it would deliver the body of a captive to Israel later that night, according to a statement posted on its Telegram account.

The statement said that, as part of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” prisoner exchange deal, the Martyr Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades will hand over the body of one of the Israeli captives that was recovered today in the Gaza Strip at 11:00 p.m. Gaza time.
