Al-Qassam Brigades reveal details of operation detonating a minefield against Israeli vehicles east of Rafah

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), on Wednesday disclosed details of an operation that detonated pre‑placed mines in a number of Israeli military vehicles east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

In a post on its “Telegram” channel, the Qassam Brigades said its fighters, after returning from the front lines, detonated pre‑placed mines in a number of Hummer military vehicles and caused deaths and injuries among Israeli soldiers near Deir Yassin School in the al‑Jenina neighbourhood east of Rafah on Sept. 18, 2025.

It said its fighters then fired a sniper rifle at several wounded soldiers at the scene.
