Gaza’s health ministry says deaths and injuries from Israeli offensive continue to rise

The Gaza Health Ministry said today that hospitals in the Strip reported 44 deaths in the past 24 hours, including 38 people pulled from under the rubble, in addition to 29 new injuries.

The ministry said some victims remain under the debris and in the streets, while ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to extensive destruction and a lack of resources.

According to the cumulative tally, the toll of the Israeli offensive continuing since 7 October 2023 has risen to 67,913 dead and 170,134 injured.
