Widespread raids and arrests in the occupied West Bank

Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide arrest campaign in the occupied West Bank at dawn on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025.

They arrested seven Palestinians from the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, including a child.

According to security sources, the forces stormed the Jalazoun refugee camp north of al-Bireh and arrested: Diya al-Tirawi, Yamen Abu Hamad, Abdullah Mubarak, Maher Dalaisha, and Muhammad Karima, after raiding and searching their homes.

The same sources added that the forces raided the Diwan al-Dawaima and turned it into a field interrogation center, subjected a number of residents to field questioning, and closed the medical center of the agency “الأونروا” before withdrawing.

The sources indicated that the forces arrested the child Ismail al-Sarsour (14), and his cousin Mahmoud al-Sarsour (18), after raiding their relatives’ homes in the Ein Misbah neighborhood of Ramallah.

Israeli occupation forces also arrested six Palestinians from the Hebron governorate in the southern West Bank.

Security and local sources said the forces arrested from Hebron city: Ayoub Ashraf Abu al-Halawa, Fadi Muhammad Fatouh al-Ja’bari, Naji Abdul Muneim al-Fakhouri, Rabi’ Shawkat Alqam, Amir Mufid Khalil from the town of Beit Ummar, and Qais Anwar al-Huwarine from the town of Dhahiriya south of Hebron, after raiding and searching their homes and ransacking their contents.

The same sources added that the forces set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its towns, villages and camps, closed a number of main and secondary roads, and impeded residents’ movement.

Meanwhile, the forces arrested two young men from the town of Beit Fajjar south of Bethlehem.

Security sources said the forces arrested the two young men, Ahmad Khaled Taqatqa (27) and Ayed Muhammad Taqatqa (26), after raiding and searching their families’ homes.

Israeli forces had stormed the Dheisheh camp around midnight last night, clashes erupted, and no injuries were reported.
