734 days into the war, Palestinians await start of ceasefire implementation

Israeli occupation aircraft continued striking various areas of the Gaza Strip on day 734 of the war, leaving a number of dead and wounded.
Medical sources said eight people were killed since dawn on Wednesday in the Gaza Strip.
Jubilation spread across the Strip after the U.S. president announced a ceasefire agreement had been reached and Hamas confirmed it had handed over lists of captives.
Gaza and the north
After the agreement was signed, Israeli aircraft struck al-Shati camp, causing a number of injuries.
Occupation planes also carried out a series of strikes on the southern and western areas of Gaza City and detonated car bombs in the Al-Sabra neighborhood.
The Israeli army spokesman said it would continue to prohibit entry into Gaza City, considering it a combat zone, and also confirmed preventing access to any area where its soldiers are present.
Three civilians were killed in Gaza during the past 24 hours.
Central Strip
Occupation soldiers fired in the northern and eastern areas of the central governorate.
The army claimed it killed three fighters among eight who attacked one of its positions in the central Strip.
Over 24 hours, two civilians were killed near the U.S. aid centre north of al-Nuseirat camp.
Southern Gaza Strip
Israeli aircraft launched a series of strikes in central and southern Khan Younis early on Thursday.
Three civilians were killed, one of them near U.S. aid centres in the south of the Strip.
Statistics
The daily statistical report on the number of dead and wounded from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip showed 10 civilians killed, including two whose bodies were recovered, and 71 injuries in the past 24 hours.
The toll from the Israeli aggression rose to 67,183 dead and 169,841 wounded since October 7, 2023.
Since March 18, 2025 until today the toll reached 13,588 dead and 57,800 wounded.
