Gaza Municipality: A comprehensive deficit in service provision and a dire humanitarian situation amidst collapsing infrastructure.
Al-Khamisa News Network - Gaza

Maher Salem, Director General of Planning, Water, and Sanitation at the Gaza Municipality, warned of a complete inability of the Strip's municipalities to provide basic services due to the loss of sources of income and vital equipment since the start of the aggression.
He explained that the population of Gaza City has doubled as a result of displacement, while only a quarter of the required quantities of water are reaching the city, exacerbating the health and livelihood crisis.
Salem pointed out that residents are still present in the Zeitoun and Sabra neighborhoods, despite their classification as "red" areas with high risk, which is hindering the arrival of technical crews.
He added that critical water pipeline failures occur in "red" zones, and that the coordination process for accessing them takes at least two weeks, often insufficient time to carry out the necessary repairs.
