Surprise Attack in Khan Younis: 14 Fighters Attack Military Site and Attempt to Kidnap Soldiers

In a surprise attack, at least 14 militants launched an assault on a military position of the Israeli army in Khan Younis and attempted to kidnap soldiers, according to Hebrew sources.
The army admitted to injuring three soldiers from Kfir during the sudden and unusual attack on the Murog axis in Khan Younis, with one in critical condition.
According to Hebrew sources, the fighters attempted to seize soldiers. During the subsequent battle, the Israeli army claimed to have thwarted the operation, killing eight of the attackers. The remaining assailants managed to withdraw.
Israeli military sources indicate that the cell was planned in advance, and it is estimated that the militants did not only intend to infiltrate the site but also aimed to kidnap soldiers.
The incident occurred this morning. According to Maariv newspaper, a large number of fighters emerged from several tunnel entrances and advanced toward the military site located in the center of Khan Younis. They launched a significant number of anti-tank missiles and gunfire. The fighters moved toward the site with the goal of attacking and kidnapping soldiers.
