Norwegian Refugee Council: Gaza humanitarian situation catastrophic, calls for Israel to be held accountable

The spokeswoman for the Norwegian Refugee Council said in a statement that the situation in the Gaza Strip “is extremely difficult” for humanitarian workers, amid ongoing military operations and a deterioration of conditions on the ground.

She added: “We call on the international community to hold Israel accountable for its continued breaches of international law, and to take concrete steps to protect civilians and humanitarian workers in the Strip.”
