10 deaths from famine and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip

The Gaza Strip’s Ministry of Health recorded 10 deaths from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, including three children.

That brings the total number of malnutrition-related deaths to 332, including 124 children.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) also warned that around one million people in northern Gaza face the risk of displacement amid the ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza City, which it has classified as a “high-risk combat zone.”

The spokesman for the UN Secretary‑General, Stéphane Dujarric, said the continued Israeli military operations “could have even more horrific consequences for civilians across the Strip if they escalate in intensity.”
