Hebrew site Hadashot BeZman: 15,000‑shekel drone destroyed defense systems worth billions

The Hebrew site ‘Hadshot BeZman’ revealed that Hezbollah secretary‑general Hassan Nasrallah succeeded in destroying most of Israel’s long‑range air defence systems, specifically the ‘Tel Shma’im’ (Sky Dew) system, using a drone that cost no more than 15,000 shekels.

The site added that these systems, which cost Israel billions of shekels, were “thrown in the trash,” a reference to their abject failure to counter the air attacks.

The report criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s attempts to mislead the public by talking about “successes,” noting that the government’s legal adviser was the only official who approved the strike carried out in Qatar, implying an attempt to preemptively assign responsibility for any political or legal fallout.
