US nurse reveals shocking details from Gaza: drones strike hospitals, medical staff collapsing

Volunteer nurse Andy Foughn, who left the Gaza Strip after a three-month humanitarian mission, said the past days have seen a serious escalation that directly targeted hospitals.

Foughn added that “drones began firing at the hospital building where I was working, and some bullets penetrated its walls,” noting that medical teams were operating under constant danger.

She said Palestinian doctors and nurses are suffering from “severe exhaustion and psychological collapse,” adding that many were forced to flee their homes and live in “overcrowded tents lacking the slightest comforts or security,” despite being the backbone of Gaza’s strained health system.
