Two shot by Israeli forces in Jerusalem and Hebron

Two people were wounded by Israeli gunfire on Friday near the Qalandiya checkpoint north of occupied Jerusalem, and in the town of Beit Ula west of the city of Hebron in the West Bank.

Local sources said a young man was hit by live fire in the leg at the Qalandiya checkpoint and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The sources said another young man was wounded by Israeli fire near the separation wall in Beit Ula and was held by forces for hours before being handed over to the Red Crescent.

In related developments, Israeli forces arrested four people, including a child, from various areas of Hebron.
