Death toll among occupation forces since the start of the war on Gaza

The entity calling itself the “Israeli Ministry of Security” published on Monday morning the total number of Israeli forces killed on various fronts and in different areas since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

According to the ministry’s figures, 1,152 Israeli soldiers have been killed since October 7, 2023, including personnel from the Israeli army, the Israeli police, the Shin Bet and members of rapid-response teams who fought in the Gaza Strip, southern Lebanon and the occupied West Bank.

Of the 1,152 dead, officers and enlisted, 1,035 were members of the Israeli army, 100 from the Israeli police, 9 from the General Security Service and 8 from the Prison Service.

According to the ministry, more than 40% of the dead — 487 — were under the age of 21, and 141 were over 40.

Most of the casualties were male: 1,086 male soldiers and 66 female soldiers. Among them, 801 were unmarried and 327 were married.

Also killed were 318 reservists in the war across various areas, along with 283 professional soldiers and 43 members of an alert unit who fell during the October 7 attack.

In the past year, from October 7, 2024, until this morning, October 6, 2025, 262 deaths were added to the toll of soldiers killed in Israel’s wars.
