Egypt’s presidency: Sisi, Trump expected to meet on sidelines of Sharm el-Sheikh peace summit

The Egyptian presidency announced that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will hold a meeting with his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump on the sidelines of the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit.

It said the summit’s programme will include a plenary meeting of participating leaders and heads of state, and that both President Sisi and President Trump will deliver formal statements during the summit’s events.

President Sisi will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with several leaders attending the summit to discuss developments in the region and efforts to support stability and peace.
