Israel Hayom said the Israeli army received seven released captives from the Red Cross after they were freed earlier from the Gaza Strip.
The paper quoted a security source as saying the Israeli army is preparing to transfer the Israeli captives beginning at 8 a.m. from northern Gaza.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said the release of the captives will take place in two batches between 8 and 10 a.m.
Media sources confirmed that the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades handed living Israeli captives to the Red Cross in Gaza, and that the transfer of the remaining living captives will be completed at 10 a.m. in southern Gaza.
Israeli media said all seven Israeli captives released in the first batch are standing on their own feet.
