The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas entered its second week amid continued Israeli violations that have resulted in deaths and injuries.
Israeli authorities handed over the bodies of thirty Palestinians, bringing the total to 120, most of them unidentified.
Israeli authorities postponed the opening of the Rafah crossing until next Sunday, the third postponement since the ceasefire.
Four civilians were killed in the past 24 hours by Israeli gunfire in various areas east and south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli reconnaissance aircraft continued intensive flights over the Strip, while artillery shelling persisted in several areas.
The daily statistical report on deaths and injuries from the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip said its hospitals received 29 dead — including 22 recovered bodies and four people who later died of their wounds — and 10 injured in the past 24 hours.
The toll from the Israeli assault rose to 67,967 killed and 170,179 wounded since October 7, 2023.
