727 days of war — dozens killed and wounded as Israeli forces besiege Gaza City

Israeli aircraft continued to strike various areas of the Gaza Strip on the 727th day of the war, leaving large numbers of dead and wounded.
Medical sources said more than 85 people have been killed since dawn on Wednesday in the Gaza Strip, including 53 in Gaza City, 28 in the central area and four in the southern sector.
Israeli forces tightened their siege on Gaza City, preventing movement from the south toward the city and allowing only residents to leave. With that decision, the supply of food and medicines to hospitals in the city has stopped.
Gaza and the north
Israeli quadcopter drones dropped explosive devices on the roofs of houses in the al-Maghrebi area of the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City ahead of detonating them.
Israeli aircraft carried out six strikes on a residential block belonging to the Daghmash family in the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
Israeli vehicles opened fire near the Ghafri junction on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City.
Central Gaza
On Wednesday evening nine people were killed when Israeli forces struck a home belonging to the Abu Gharabeh family east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. They were: sisters Rawan Mohammed Abu Gharabeh (23), Esraa (26) and Marwa (22); Naama Salem Abu Gharabeh (59) and her sister Haniya (52); Reem Ashraf Abu Gharabeh (18); Hiba Ezzat al-Qadeem (30); Mohammed Khalid Abu Maghaseeb (18); and the child Ilyas Salem Abu Blaymeh (3).
Thirteen people were wounded in an Israeli strike that hit a tent sheltering displaced people in the al-Masha’la area southwest of Deir al-Balah.
Southern Gaza
Eight people were wounded when a strike hit a tent sheltering displaced people inside Al-Aqsa University west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
According to the health ministry, four people were killed in the south of the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.
Statistics
The daily statistical report on deaths and injuries from the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip showed 51 people killed and 180 wounded in the past 24 hours.
The toll from the Israeli attacks rose to 66,148 killed and 168,716 wounded since October 7, 2023.
Since March 18, 2025, to date there have been 13,280 killed and 56,675 wounded.
The number of people who reached hospitals from aid areas during the past 24 hours was 4 killed and 57 wounded, bringing the total number of those who arrived at hospitals from livelihood-related areas to 2,580 killed and more than 18,930 wounded.
