The White House late Monday–Tuesday published the text of the document it called “Trump’s Declaration for Peace and Prosperity,” signed by U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani during a summit held on Monday in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh to achieve peace in the Middle East and end the war in the Gaza Strip.

Below is the verbatim text of the Sharm El-Sheikh summit document on Gaza as published by the White House:

– We, the undersigned, welcome the historic and genuine commitment and implementation by all parties of the peace agreement proposed by President Trump, which ends more than two years of suffering and severe losses and opens a new chapter for the region filled with hope, security, and a shared vision of peace and progress.

– We endorse and support the sincere efforts of President Trump to end the war in Gaza and to establish a lasting peace in the Middle East. – We believe that lasting peace is one in which Palestinians and Israelis alike enjoy prosperity while their fundamental human rights are protected, their security is guaranteed, and their dignity is preserved.

– We affirm that genuine progress is achieved through cooperation and sustained dialogue, and that strengthening ties among nations and peoples serves the enduring interests of regional and international safety and stability.

– We recognize the deep historical and spiritual significance of this region for religious communities whose roots are intertwined with the land, including Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, and we will continue to prioritize respect for these sacred connections and the protection of their heritage sites in our commitment to peaceful coexistence.

– We are united in our determination to dismantle extremism and militancy in all their forms. No society can thrive when it tolerates violence and racism, or when extremist ideologies threaten the fabric of civic life. We commit to eliminating the conditions that enable extremism and to promoting education, opportunity, and mutual respect as the foundation of lasting peace.

– We will resolve future disputes through diplomacy and negotiation rather than by resorting to force or prolonged conflict. We understand that the Middle East cannot sustain a continued cycle of repeated wars, stalled negotiations, or partial, deficient, or selective implementation of successful agreements. The tragedies we have witnessed over the past two years must serve as a reminder that future generations deserve a better future than the failures of the past.

– We seek tolerance, dignity, and equal opportunity for every person, ensuring that this region is a place for all to pursue aspirations for peace, security, and economic prosperity regardless of race, religion, or origin. We are working toward a comprehensive vision of shared peace, security, and prosperity in the region built on principles of mutual respect and common destiny.

– In this context, we welcome the progress made toward reaching comprehensive and durable peace arrangements in the Gaza Strip, as well as friendly relations and mutually beneficial exchange between Israel and its regional neighbors. We pledge to work collectively to implement and sustain these arrangements and to build resilient institutions that will deliver prosperity for future generations together in peace. We are committed to a future defined by lasting peace.
