Gaza Health Ministry: 15 new bodies received from Israeli forces raise death toll to 135; signs of torture evident

The Gaza Ministry of Health said its teams received 15 bodies of people killed today that were released by Israel through the Red Cross, bringing the total number of bodies received since the start of the releases to 135.

The ministry said its medical teams continue to handle the bodies according to approved medical protocols, in preparation for completing examination and documentation procedures and handing them over to their families.

It noted that several of the bodies that arrived today showed clear signs of abuse, such as beating, bound hands and blindfolds, in a scene that raises concern about the circumstances of their deaths and their treatment inside Israeli prisons.
