Heavy air strikes hit Gaza City in past two hours

Israeli warplanes launched five intense airstrikes on various areas of Gaza City over the past two hours, coinciding with heavy drone activity over the city.

Local sources said drones targeted a group of civilians near Al-Sharq Bakery on Al-Jalaa Street in central Gaza City, resulting in deaths and injuries.

Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital said emergency and civil defense teams recovered the bodies of five people from under the rubble of a house that had been struck last night in the western part of Gaza City.
