Israeli forces strike inside Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital for 14th time

The Government Media Office said early Monday morning, Sept. 1, 2025, that Israeli occupation forces committed a new crime when their warplanes struck a tent for displaced people inside the grounds of Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital (central Gaza Strip), specifically near the outpatient clinic, causing injuries at the strike site, material damage and directly threatening the lives of dozens of patients inside the hospital with the risk of death.
The government media said the criminal targeting is the 14th time since the start of the genocidal war, a systematic repetition of strikes that have hit the same hospital, reflecting a clear determination to target health infrastructure and a violation of international law that prohibits harm to medical facilities and civilians.
The office strongly condemned this brutal and ongoing assault on hospitals, which it described as a flagrant breach of all international and humanitarian conventions.
It held “the Israeli occupation”, along with the U.S. administration and complicit states, fully responsible for these systematic crimes, which it said form part of a clear policy to destroy the health infrastructure.
It renewed an urgent call on the international community, the United Nations and its humanitarian and human-rights bodies to take immediate action to curb the aggression and stop these crimes, which amount to war crimes and genocide, and to provide urgent international protection for hospitals and their staff in the Gaza Strip.
