Netanyahu cancels participation in Sharm el-Sheikh peace summit

The Prime Minister of Israel canceled his participation in the peace summit scheduled for today in Sharm el-Sheikh.

His office announced that Benjamin Netanyahu will not attend the peace summit scheduled to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh today.

According to his office’s statement, Netanyahu thanked President Trump for his invitation, but said he would be unable to attend due to the approaching holiday. The prime minister thanked President Trump for his efforts to expand the circle of peace – “peace through strength”.

This came after Netanyahu was invited to the summit less than an hour earlier and had confirmed his participation.
