Netanyahu threatens Hamas: “Time is running out” — Israeli military recommends against fighting

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hamas in a statement from his office, urging it to comply with U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan and saying “time is running out.”

He said Hamas knows the locations of the bodies of the Israeli captives, stressing that “Hamas’s weapons will be dismantled and the matter is settled.”

Separately, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said the army and security agencies have recommended not resuming fighting in the Gaza Strip and urged using other means of pressure on Hamas.
