Prisoners’ media: Prisoner Muhammad Arman faces severe health problems in Megiddo prison isolation unit
Al-Khamisa News Network - Gaza

The Prisoners’ Media Office said on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, that prisoner Mohammad Arman (50) from Ramallah, serving 36 life sentences, is facing harsh health and living conditions in solitary confinement at Megiddo prison, having lost so much weight that he now weighs no more than 60 kilograms.
The office said Arman previously underwent several surgical operations during his detention, including a neck operation that improved his condition, but he now suffers from vision problems that require constant use of eyeglasses amid fears that prison authorities may confiscate them.
The Prisoners’ Media Office said Commander Arman is being subjected to a policy of systematic starvation and medical neglect and is being denied necessary treatment and examinations. It added that there is no longer any communication between him and his family or his lawyer, increasing concern for his fate.
The office held the occupation fully responsible for his life, saying what he is being subjected to represents direct retaliation against the symbolic status of leaders inside the prisons, and that continued isolation and starvation pose a serious threat to his life.
