Settlers released their livestock on Saturday morning around residents’ homes in two residential communities near Hebron and Jericho.
Osama Mukhamara, an activist in the anti-settlement resistance in Masafer Yatta, told our correspondent that settlers released their livestock around residents’ homes in Khirbet Umm al-Kheir amid the presence of Israeli forces in the village.
Also, settlers this morning drove their sheep into residents’ homes in the Shalal al-Ouja community north of Jericho, in an apparent attempt to vandalize property.
Settlers carried out 466 attacks in July, in one of the peaks of settler violence targeting Palestinian villages and Bedouin communities. The attacks were concentrated in Ramallah with 126 incidents, Hebron 103, Nablus 83 and Bethlehem 39.
