The death toll from the occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,944 martyrs and 155,886 wounded.

Medical sources announced on Sunday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,944, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.

The same sources added that the death toll has risen to 155,886 since the start of the aggression, while a number of victims remain under the rubble, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams.

She noted that 47 martyrs (including 9 who were recovered) and 226 injured people arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals over the past 24 hours. The death toll and injuries since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, has reached 10,400 martyrs and 43,845 injured.

She explained that the number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals over the past 24 hours was 14, with 132 injured, bringing the total number of livelihood victims who arrived at hospitals to 1,938, and the total number of injured to 14,420.

Over the past 24 hours, Gaza hospitals recorded seven deaths due to starvation and malnutrition, including two children, bringing the total number to 258, including 110 children.
