Trump says Israel and Hamas signed first phase of his peace plan

U.S. President Donald Trump said in a post on Truth Social that “Israel and Hamas have signed the first phase of the plan.”

Trump added: “I am honored to announce that Israel and Hamas have signed the first phase of our peace plan. This means the release of all the hostages very soon, and Israel withdrawing its forces to the agreed line — as a first step toward a strong, stable and lasting peace. All parties will be treated fairly.
He continued: It is a great day for the Arab and Islamic world, for Israel, for all neighbouring countries, and for the United States of America. We thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt and Turkey, who worked with us to make this historic and unprecedented event a success. Praise to the peacemakers.”
