World Food Programme: Israeli operation in Gaza hindering aid entry, exacerbating crisis

The Executive Director of the World Food Programme warned that the Israeli military operation in Gaza City will make it more difficult for humanitarian aid to reach those in need, amid a severe deterioration of conditions.

She said the current phase is extremely dangerous, stressing the urgent need to open crossings and allow food and humanitarian assistance into the Strip without delay.
