Yedioth Ahronoth: Trump to arrive in Israel early next week

An Israeli source familiar with the details of the agreement between Israel and Hamas said U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to visit Israel early next week and will deliver a speech in the Knesset.

This follows a call from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who invited him to visit Israel.

The conversation took place shortly after President Trump announced last night that Israel and Hamas had signed the first phase of his ceasefire plan for the Gaza Strip.

In a post on the “Truth” social media site he owns, Trump wrote: “I am honored to announce that Israel and Hamas have signed the first phase of our peace plan. This means that all the hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw its forces to the agreed line – as a first step toward a strong, stable and lasting peace”
