Israeli artillery shelled areas in the northeastern part of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Friday.
Local sources said an artillery battery positioned behind the separation fence fired a number of shells, concurrently with gunfire from military vehicles inside the Strip, at lands north of Al-Bureij.
Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat said today it received 10 wounded over the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli forces opening fire east of Al-Bureij camp, in addition to injuries caused by the explosion of a suspicious object in the Nuseirat camp.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the toll of the Israeli offensive rose to 67,967 dead and 170,179 injured since October 7 of the year 202m.
Since a ceasefire in Gaza was announced last week, residents in the north and south of the Strip have been killed and wounded after being targeted by the Israeli army.
