Israeli forces detain more than 20 youths and arrest another north of Ramallah

Israeli occupation forces detained more than twenty young men on Monday evening at the Atara military checkpoint north of Ramallah, while the young man Musab Muhannad Shoman was arrested from the town of Abu Falah at the Ein Siniya checkpoint.

Local sources said Israeli soldiers stopped a large number of vehicles at the checkpoints and held the youths inside them, conducting thorough searches and identity checks.

Since the evening hours, areas around military checkpoints in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorates have seen tightened measures and what residents described as arbitrary procedures, accompanied by searches and detentions targeting Palestinians’ daily movement.
