Israeli forces launch arrest campaign in various parts of the West Bank

Israeli forces carried out a widespread campaign of raids and arrests at dawn and during the morning on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, across several governorates of the occupied West Bank.

The Prisoners’ Media Office said the arrests included storming and searching homes and detaining a number of former prisoners and the sons of Palestinians killed, in addition to arresting the mother of a wanted man to pressure him to turn himself in.

The office said Israeli forces arrested 8 residents from Jenin, 8 from Hebron and 7 from Nablus.

It added that forces arrested a woman after raiding her home in Beit Rima to pressure her son to surrender, and arrested the son of a slain Palestinian from Bethlehem while he was passing through a military checkpoint.
