Loss of consciousness and broken ribs: details of assault on prisoner Marwan Barghouti in Israeli prisons

Sources told (Al-Araby TV) that prisoner Marwan Barghouti was assaulted and beaten while being transferred from (Rimon) prison to (Megiddo) prison in mid-September.

According to the sources, eight members of the Israeli “Nahshon” unit participated in the assault on Barghouti during the transfer operation.

The sources added that Barghouti lost consciousness as a result of the physical assault, and that four of his ribs were broken due to the severe beating he sustained.
