UNICEF: Aid must flow into Gaza, children need shelter in tents

UNICEF spokesperson Tess Ingram called for children in the Gaza Strip to be sheltered in tents and provided with blankets.

Ingram told Al Jazeera on Tuesday that “our teams are operating across the Gaza Strip and distribution areas are deployed.”

She added, “We have been allowed to bring in aid since May, but some restrictions are still imposed on us.”

Ingram continued, “We need a steady flow of aid into the Gaza Strip and for the crossings to be opened.”
