Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian youth during a military raid into the town of Jaba’a town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin on Wednesday morning.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that 20-year-old Rafic Riad Ghannam was shot by Israeli gunfire at dawn on Wednesday during a military raid into the town of Jaba’a.
Ghannam was reportedly arrested by the Israeli occupation forces in a critical condition before he was announced dead of his wounds while in Israeli custody.
Local sources reported that an Israeli special forces unit raided the Jenin refugee camp at dawn, and cornered off a Palestinian house amid shooting heavy fire.
At least three Palestinians were injured by the forces, including Ghannam and former Israeli prisoner Ameed Al-Ersan who was brutally detained during the furious military operation; the third one managed to flee the occupation after being hurt.
